    Today is World Book Day and the staff and students at VEC have been enjoying a fantastic literary day. Proceedings began in a special morning assembly. Each class nominated a book which they enjoyed through reading and creative sessions. For our Post 16 students we’ve held a special World Book Day ‘Dragon’s Den’. Staff members were given the opportunity to express their love of a Brent Peterson, veteran RV writer and editor as well as avid camper and traveler, is former editor of RV View and is editor-at-large for Woodall's Publishing. Brent's work has appeared in Coast to Coast, Highways, and Camping Life magazines. April Maher writes about camping and outdooor recreation in her syndicated monthly "Camping Journal" column.
